My Video Portfolio
From being the sole director of a film scene, to the smaller but significant roles in staging, audio and lighting, I've been gaining experience in video and enjoying the entire process. Browse through my portfolio of class projects, work projects, and maybe even some personal projects of mine.
The Art of Purpose
Roles: Audio Lead, Co-Director, Organizer
Won 1st place at the Marquette Film Festival, runner-up for the Los Angeles Student Film Festival, and made an appearance at the Milwaukee Short Film Festival.
This short documentary was made with 3 other talented women as a final project for our introductory digital media class. The message of this short doc sticks with me to this day.
Intern at the Met Council!
Roles: Camera, Lighting
As an intern for the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, I played a crucial role in organizing and recording testimonials from fellow interns for an intern promotional video. This is meant to bring awareness and interest to the Council's internship program.
The Beer Can (Ad)
Staging, Lighting, Camera
I was a part of a team of students that put together this advertisement for Blue and Gold Brewing. I did this in partnership with The Carl Collective, a student-based organization. I helped with staging and lighting and was able to do a few shots on the camera. This was my first experience working on an advertisement set.
Get Out Scene
Audio, Lighting
A recreation of a scene from Jordan Peele's "Get Out." This was my first time taking part in a film scene recreation.
The Devil Wears Prada Scene
Director, Lighting, Editor
A recreation of a scene from Jerry Mitchell's "The Devil Wears Prada." This was my first ever solo directing project. It was assigned as the midterm project for my directing class.
Eternal Sunshine Scene
Director, Camera, Editor
A recreation of a scene from Michel Gondry's "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." This was my final project in directing class, and my second time directing on my own.
